Well, kinda. You see a lot of schools, nudge Big Ten, where kids have just insane cars. This is the 4th brand new F-150 I've seen already and 50k GMC's and late model King Ranches and pretty common. But at the same time the newest BMW I've seen is an E92 M3. Always found that weird.
Also, snapchat distorted the pic all weird.

Bro, I needed something that can handle the snow.

A truck makes it much easier to lug a bunch of snow around.

People are actually pretty stupid with the snow here. Had to help push a guy in a Five Hundred out last night since he drove straight into 7 inches of untouched snow and dug in.

Yep, all about the weather. Go to a large university in a warmer area and you will notice the difference. Tons of German and Japanese luxury metal at my school. Lots of bro trucks too, but not as skewed a distribution as you've presented.

Nope, GVSU. West side of Michigan. UofM loves their German cars, not as much as msu likes Italian cars, but close.

Youd think, but when I go out to MSU, they don't have many "winter" cars, its like going to a Italian car meet up. Place makes GTRs and R8s look like chump change.

Haha, nice. I've been hoping for some snow this year, but it doesn't look likely. Considering we have like two snow plows for the whole state and for some reason nobody has thought to employ bulldozers to speed up the process, it gets pretty crazy in Atlanta (as we've seen twice in the past few years).

People seem to agree with you on that one. We even have a truck club here.

Yup.
When my sister talks about almost being hit by someone in a Maserati its a plual statement since multiple different Maseratis have almost hit her.

Here they take construction equipment and tractors from farmers to do the plowing when it really starts coming down, they work really well actually.

I'm pretty sure you have to get into upper Canada before you find people who actually know what they're doing in snow.

Random, didn't know MSU had shit like that, although I've only been there a couple times during the school year. Is it Chinese foreign exchange students? At my school besides the occasional bro/basic whose parents are actually senior executives at oil companies instead of middle managers (life in Oklahoma lol), most of the stuff above a 3–series is owned by a foreign student or used. My Civic shared a parking lot with a 911 turbo, CLS 550, M5, GTR, and a couple Cayennes last year. Besides a G–Wagen, one or two Maseratis and a some specced Rangies not a ton at that level. Plenty of crazy bro trucks though. Where do you go, UM?

Gvsu, its on the west side of Michigan.
And yup, its Chinese foreign exchange students. Like this was on the free and for sale Facebook page. And there were some pics earlier this year of a someone in a chrome Lamborghini that crashes into a new Jeep.

Ah ok, a bunch of people from my school went there and I was at a wedding reception at the alumni house this summer. Good thing you can always count on the foreign students to have crazy shit haha.
